The New Generation of the Automatic and Ultra-high Temperature Blowback Filtration System
This honeycomb-like monolith has a fine surface filtration membrane like the well-known silicon carbide ceramic candle used on high-temperature filters, so it can provide excellent filtration performance. It can intercept particles larger than or equal to 0.3 microns and the dust content in the clean gas after filtration is usually less than 5 mg/standard cubic meter.
By installing multiple filter honeycombs in a metal modular frame, it is possible to provide a large filtration area per unit volume. This modular frame will be installed in the filter vessel, in this way to integrate a very compact blowback system.
When filtration, the dust-laden gas (dark blue) enters the vessel from the lower side of the tubesheet, is filtered through the filter honeycombs with good permeability, enters the clean gas collection chamber on the back side of the steel module frame, and then the clean gas (white) is collected from the upper side of the tube sheet and flows to the process gas outlet.
When the system pressure difference reaches the set value, the control system activates the fast acting valve on the blowback pipe to open at 150 milliseconds, providing a supersonic high-pressure shock wave (yellow) that will accumulate dust in the filter brick. The particles are blown out. The fastest operating valve is used here to control the pulse of the backflush gas.

Silicon Carbide Membranes
New generation Putriumph Putrilox® silicon carbide ceramic membrane module has the characteristics of large flux, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.Using silicon carbide as the substrate, the hardness of ceramic membrane after sintering is second only to that of diamond.The precisely calibrated hierarchical filtration structure ensures the perfect combination between the dense membrane and the substrate.
The liquid waste enters the ceramic membrane module, and the concentrated liquid goes into the downstream from the outlet of the membrane module, and the clear and clean filtrate flows out of the side wall.Because of cross flow filtration, the original solution continuously takes away the cake on the surface of the membrane under high shear force, which greatly delays the fouling of the membrane.The liquid or gas assisted backwash can effectively regenerate the polluted filter element, and the filter element can be repeatedly cleaned and reused.
Compared with traditional alumina ceramic membranes, Putrilox® substrate has high permeability.With the porosity greater than 46%, the filtrate flux is 4 times more than that of traditional ceramic membranes.
Compared with the traditional round channel, the patented rhombus channel design achieves a more compact arrangement and provides more filtration area.The flow resistance around each rhombic channel is more uniform, the water flux is larger and more stable, and the filter cake distribution is more uniform.
The surface contact rather than the point contact is used in the high-temperature sintering of silicon carbide powder with high wafer degree, which makes the possibility of intergranular displacement of the filter element under external force smaller, thus greatly improving the mechanical strength of the filter element.
